1. How long does it take to install a typical garage floor?
Our standard garage floor installation only takes 1 day and our more decorative
systems take 2 days. This includes all prep work plus the application of our
flooring system.
2. After you install the floor coating, how long before I can get back on it?
Our systems are industrial grade and only take 1 day to cure. In other words,
we install your system 1 day and you are back on it the next.
3. Is your system available in different colors?
Yes. We offer many solid colors plus our simulated granite and marble floors
are available in many diffent color combinations. We can show you beautiful samples
or let you pick your own colors. You are only limited by your imagination.
4. Will my new floor be slippery?
No. We include slip resistant texture in all our floors. This insures safety
even when your floor is wet.
5. How will I clean my new floor?
Our floors are not only safe, they are very easy to clean. Simply sweep or blow
the debris off the floor and damp mop, if you like. Our texture is rounded so
it mops very easily and doesn't leave mop strings. Oil and other automotive fluids
wipe up with a paper towel.
6. Where is Carolina Flooring Specialists located?
We are located in Taylors, SC. We have a show-room just off WadeHampton Blvd
at 141 Highland Way, Taylors, SC 29687. We travel throughout the Southeastern
United States installing the finest epoxy floor coatings in the world. Our showroom
is open Tuesday through Friday, 8am-noon and 1pm-5pm or by appointment.
7. Is Carolina Flooring Specialists a franchise?
No. We are an independently owned company. That means we don't have the high
overhead associated with being a franchise and can pass those savings along to
our customers. Every flooring situation is different and by being independently
owned we can be flexible and offer custom solutions. Our policies are not dictated
by someone in a far away office who is not familiar with our local market and
needs. After all, the owners are locals. born and raised right here in Greenville,
SC.
8. Who will install my new floor?
Carolina Flooring Specialists has it's own installers. We don't sub out the
work to contractors you've never met. The best part...one of the owners of Carolina
Flooring Specialists is on every job ensuring you complete satisfaction. "We don't send guys...we bring them!"
9. What about the smell?
Our products are 100% solids epoxy so there is no smell. We install this same
product in occupied manufacturing facilities with no complaints. Also, by being
100% solids, none of our product evaporates off during the curing process. You
get exactly what we put down.
10. What about the "stuff" in my garage?
No problem. At no extra charge, we'll clear out your garage before we start
and come back the next day and put it all back. This includes refrigerators,
freezers, tools, lawn & garden equipment, etc... We'll cover everything to
protect it too. We know you're busy so we do it all! All we need from you is
access to your garage and you can leave everything else to us.
11. Do you only install garage floors?
No. While we do install many garage floor systems every week, we also offer
great systems for basements, walkways, patios, and pool-decks. For outside areas,
such as pool-decks or patios, we have beautiful RiverRock Surfacing that has to
be seen to be believed. This is a natural stone product that lasts forever and
is much more cost efficient than stamped concrete or brick pavers.
12. Do you give free estimates?
Yes. We will be more than happy to come to your home or business, at your convenience,
to provide a "no cost, no pressure" estimate. We can show you great pictures
